St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Madison is excited to share about our new outreach and creation care ministry that seeks to increase our neighbors’ access to creating a garden.
This ministry started with our Kick Off & Connect event on April 22nd. Through Jump Start Neighborhood Gardens, our church community has and will continue to provide neighbors and local community members with key resources needed to jump start a garden of their choosing.
These include:
Jump Start Neighborhood Gardens is funded by a generous grant from the Diocese of Milwaukee.

These include:
- Free compost, seeds, plant starts, common gardening tools and materials as part of our May 18th Planting Day.
- Education and support from St. Luke’s members and local gardening experts on a variety of gardening related topics.
- Community gatherings to celebrate our harvests and growing connections with one another.
