St. Luke's Lotsa Loot Rummage & Bake Sale

"Lotsa Loot" is the term affectionately used by St. Luke's members
for a giant resale or garage sale. It is St. Luke's only organized money raiser which
involves the help of the whole parish! Besides the resale of items, it also involves a bake sale too.
SPREAD THE WORD! If you know anyone who is planning to move or is thinking about replacing
something old (but still good) with something new or perhaps moving to a place where
space is more restricted - pass the word about St. Luke's Lotsa Loot Sale! Boy, do we have a deal for them!

Our Big Rummage Sale            Our Big Sale

    WE OFFER:
  1. Charitable deduction forms for tax purposes.
  2. To sell special items on consignment. (50% theirs 50% church)
  3. Pick-up of larger cumbersome items.
  4. To take the hassle out of a private garage sale!

We urge you to keep the following guidelines in mind when you consider your donations.

  1. All donated items should be clean and resalable.
  2. CLOTHING! PLEASE, do us a favor! Be very selective with CLOTHING donations!

  3. Considering this is only a one day sale and the volunteer workers are spread so thin - we ask you to adhere to the following guidelines.

    1. Give us only a few good, well chosen clothing items.
    2. Rule out T-shirts or caps with a logo (they just do not sell) - with one exception - the University of Wisconsin T-shirts caps - anything! These are hot items!
    3. No under garments - they are not even looked at!

  4. INFANT and CHILDREN's clothes should be separate from adult clothing - Normally children's clothing has a strong resale value.
  5. WE ENCOURAGE EARLY DONATIONS! Try to avoid that last week before the sale!
  6. If donating items with multiple parts, kindly put related parts in a tightly closed plastic bag; jewelry, toys, games, tools, etc.
